Responsibilities

● Act as the primary technical escalation point across managed infrastructure environments.
● Provide technical governance aligned with architecture, security, and operational best practices.
● Review and approve technical changes, maintenance activities, remediation plans, and major initiatives.
● Define operational engineering standards, support models, and service delivery guidelines.
● Ensure consistency and technical excellence across managed service accounts.
● Lead Major Incident Management, Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and service restoration activities.
● Drive remediation of technical risks, vulnerabilities, capacity constraints, and performance issues.
● Review infrastructure health and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
● Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
● Provide technical oversight for virtualization platforms, Windows and Linux servers, enterprise storage and backup solutions, networking technologies, and cloud environments.
● Support infrastructure upgrades, optimization, patching, lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives.
● Support onboarding of new customer environments into managed services.
● Validate operational readiness, monitoring, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
● Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, Service Delivery Managers, and internal stakeholders.
● Participate in governance meetings and provide technical recommendations and risk assessments.
● Drive automation and orchestration initiatives.
● Develop scripts using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
● Improve operational efficiency through process automation and tooling enhancements.
● Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices.
● Mentor and coach infrastructure engineers.
● Promote technical excellence, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
● Support capability development across the engineering team.

Requirements

● Have 8-12+ years of infrastructure and managed services experience.
● Have a strong managed services background supporting enterprise environments.
● Have expertise in virtualization technologies, including Nutanix, VMware, and Hyper-V.
● Have strong Windows and Linux administration experience.
● Have hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
● Have solid knowledge of networking, security, storage, and backup technologies.
● Have experience working within ITIL-based enterprise environments.
● Have strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
● Have automation and scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.

Benefits

● Salary: Up to SGD 10,000/month (commensurate with experience)
● 12-Month Contract (Renewable)
● Immediate starters preferred
