Responsibilities
- ● Manage process integration activities for semiconductor and photonic wafer fabrication, ensuring stable manufacturing operations, high yield, and product quality.
- ● Oversee coordination with external semiconductor foundries and cross-functional engineering teams for wafer processing, process qualification, production planning, and engineering change implementation, ensuring process stability and successful production execution.
- ● Develop, optimize, and monitor wafer fabrication process flows across photolithography, etching, thin-film deposition, CMP, and metrology to improve process capability and manufacturing performance.
- ● Perform wafer inspection, defect characterization, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using optical microscopy, SEM, SPC, and statistical data analysis to improve yield and reliability.
- ● Validate electrical and photonic performance of optical interposer structures and semiconductor devices, supporting technology transfer, process characterization, and new product introduction (NPI).
- ● Drive continuous process improvement initiatives through DOE, yield analysis, failure analysis, process optimization, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- ● Prepare and maintain process documentation, engineering specifications, technical reports, FMEA, and manufacturing records while providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Requirements
- ● Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline.
- ● Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor process integration, wafer fabrication, or advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
- ● Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes including photolithography, dry/wet etching, thin-film deposition (PVD/CVD), CMP, wafer inspection, metrology, and yield enhancement methodologies.
- ● Hands-on experience with defect inspection and analytical tools such as Optical Microscopy, SEM, SPC, DOE, and failure analysis techniques.
- ● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience collaborating across foundries and cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
