Responsibilities

  • ● Develop, standardize, and improve manufacturing processes and work instructions
  • ● Design and implement tooling, fixtures, jigs, and poka-yoke systems
  • ● Perform process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and generate reports
  • ● Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • ● Establish and monitor statistical process control (SPC)
  • ● Train production staff on processes and procedures
  • ● Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues
  • ● Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean methodologies

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • ● Experience in manufacturing environment (optical/electro-mechanical preferred)
  • ● Knowledge of process validation, SPC, and statistical tools (e.g., DOE)
  • ● Familiar with automation (manual, semi-auto, fully automated processes)
  • ● Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • ● Proficient in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks) and MS Office
  • ● Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • ● Experience in high-volume manufacturing (preferred)
  • ● Hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostics skills (preferred)
  • ● Knowledge of FDA QSR / ISO 13485 (preferred)
  • ● Experience in Lean manufacturing and cost-saving projects (preferred)
  • ● Open to Engineer I to Principal level (based on years of experience and expertise)
