About the Company

We are partnering with a leading ASX 200 organisation to appoint an SAP BTP Integration & Development Architect for their major enterprise-wide S/4HANA transformation program . Location: North Sydney Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office per week Day Rate: 1,200- 1,400 including super Contract: 12 months with a strong likelihood of extension This is a pivotal architecture role within a large-scale SAP transformation, responsible for defining, governing and delivering the end-to-end integration and development strategy across a complex SAP and non-SAP technology landscape. You'll own the architecture for SAP BTP integration and extensibility, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, aligned to SAP Clean Core principles, and delivered to enterprise standards.

About the Role

Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, SAP, System Integrators and delivery teams, you will define the integration and development strategy that underpins the entire transformation program. You'll establish architecture standards, govern solution design, oversee build and deployment activities, and ensure integrations and extensions are robust, scalable and future-ready while balancing strategic direction with hands-on delivery leadership.

Responsibilities

  • ● Own the end-to-end Integration and Development Architecture across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
  • ● Define enterprise integration strategy, architecture standards and design patterns using SAP BTP services including SAP Build Work Zone .
  • ● Lead the extensibility strategy, ensuring alignment with SAP Clean Core principles and SAP extension frameworks.
  • ● Design and govern enterprise integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh and Integration Gateway.
  • ● Define development standards across Build Apps, Build Code, Process Automation, CAP, Fiori, Application Studio and related SAP BTP services.
  • ● Review and govern Solution Designs, Architecture Briefs, Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and WRICEF specifications.
  • ● Provide architecture governance across design, build, testing, data migration, cutover and deployment activities.
  • ● Ensure solutions optimise long-term supportability, platform consumption, licensing and operational costs.
  • ● Support audit, compliance and quality assurance activities, including KPI reporting and architecture governance.
  • ● Lead cutover planning and provide architectural oversight through hypercare and transition to BAU.

Requirements

  • ● Proven experience as an Integration Architect, Development Architect or Enterprise Architect on large-scale SAP transformation programs.
  • ● 10+ years' experience delivering enterprise integration and development across SAP and non-SAP environments.
  • ● Strong experience across SAP BTP development services including Build Apps, Build Code, CAP, Process Automation, Fiori and Workzone .
  • ● Deep expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite , CPI, API Management, Event Mesh and hybrid integration architecture.
  • ● Extensive SAP implementation experience across S/4HANA, SAP BTP and SuccessFactors.
  • ● Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (RISE) and SuccessFactors with SAP and third-party applications.
  • ● Strong understanding of Cloud Foundry, Kyma, ABAP environment, cloud connectivity and platform management.
  • ● Experience with SAP Clean Core, enterprise architecture governance and SAP best practice design principles.
  • ● Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at both strategic and delivery levels.
  • ● Experience working within large enterprise transformation programs using SAP Activate methodology.
