As our IT Infrastructure Operations Manager, you will lead the performance, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of Transdev ANZ's infrastructure, platform, and workplace technology environment. Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure & Systems, you'll lead a multi-disciplinary team spanning infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, security operations, systems administration, and end-user computing. Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure operations across cloud platforms, networking, systems administration, end-user computing, and security operations.
  • Own the availability, performance, and reliability of core infrastructure services including AWS, VMware, networking, Active Directory, Azure AD, endpoint management, and backup technologies.
  • Drive infrastructure cost optimisation and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Champion automation, infrastructure-as-code, and modern engineering practices to improve scalability and reliability.
  • Develop, coach, and inspire a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen ITSM disciplines including Change, Problem, Configuration, and Release Management.
  • Partner with Cyber Governance teams to maintain security controls and compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and SOCI obligations.
  • Manage vendors and technology partners to ensure strong service delivery and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead infrastructure projects including cloud migration, platform upgrades, technology refreshes, and new site deployments.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for critical incidents and major outages.
  • Significant experience (8+ years) within IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or IT operations environments.
  • Proven experience in a senior technical leadership or management role.
  • Strong expertise across AWS, VMware, Microsoft platforms, Windows Server, Linux, Cisco networking, and identity management technologies.
  • Experience leading and developing geographically dispersed, multi-disciplinary technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks including ISO 27001 and Essential Eight.
  • ITIL Foundation certification required.
  • Vendor certifications such as AWS, Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or Security+ highly regarded.
  • Strong operational leadership with the ability to balance strategic priorities and hands-on execution.
