About the Company
We are seeking an experienced and organised Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in Melbourne at our Campbellfield Office. This full-time onsite position will provide critical support to the finance department while assisting with the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- ● Process customer payments
- ● New Customer set-ups including credit checks
- ● Issuing copy invoices & monthly statements
- ● Bank & credit card reconciliations
- ● Weekly meetings with Management regarding slow paying debtors
- ● Accounts Payable Back up
- ● Assist with Ad hoc accounts / Admin duties
- ● Manage debt collection activities via phone and email
- ● Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up overdue accounts
- ● Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and billing errors
- ● Reconcile accounts receivable ledger on a regular basis
Requirements
- ● Previous experience in Accounts Receivable
- ● Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
- ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ● Proficient in using MYOB Acumatica, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- ● A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
- ● A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks
- ● Strong ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- ● Ability to work within a team environment
