Responsibilities

  • As our Senior Finance Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of the finance function - owning financial reporting, compliance, cash flow, payroll and cost accounting, while leading our offshore finance team. This is a hands-on, commercially minded role based at our Emu Plains office, right at the heart of the business as we continue to scale. What you'll do
  • Prepare monthly reports (P&L, balance sheet reconciliations) and manage month-end close, including accruals and prepayments
  • Maintain daily cash flow and weekly AR/AP reporting, and report actuals against forecast and budget
  • Prepare BAS/IAS lodgements and manage excise tax and container deposit scheme compliance
  • Own BOM accuracy and production variance reporting (sales, labour, overheads), partnering with the Production Manager
  • Drive process improvement in overhead/labour rate allocation and maintain the Fixed Assets Register
  • Manage payroll processing, financial systems improvement, and lead our offshore finance team Who you are
  • CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion), with tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • + years' experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or senior finance role - FMCG, hospitality or manufacturing experience highly regarded
  • Confident owning month-end close, BAS/IAS lodgements, and cost/production accounting end-to-end
  • Tech-savvy, with strong Excel skills and hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite highly regarded)
