Responsibilities
- ● Oversee project execution to align with departmental and organization goals.
- ● Oversee the design and implementation of machinery, plant automation, digitalization, and manufacturing sourcing to improve process and increase capacity.
- ● Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify project priorities and goals.
- ● Lead and manage plant automation and machinery sourcing projects for process improvement and capacity upgrading.
- ● Propose layouts and plan machinery infrastructure to improve production flow.
- ● Work closely with production heads to identify key improvement areas and streamline operations for cost, energy, and manpower savings.
- ● Provide project meeting minutes and progress reports, including cost estimates and timeliness.
- ● Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost effective procurement.
- ● Supervise and perform hands on electrical instrument installation at the plant.
- ● Ensure adherence to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949 standards.
Requirements
- ● Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronic or a related field.
- ● Minimum 2-3 years of hands on experience in project management or engineering design, preferably in manufacturing or process industries.
- ● Experience with electrical control panel and wiring design, PLC programming, industrial automation/digitalization software, and CAD design.
- ● Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- ● Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- ● Strong problem solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- ● Multilingual abilities are an added advantage.
