JOB TITLE: SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant / Architect JOB LOCATION : Melbourne, VIC (Hybrid) JOB DURATION: Initial 5 months contract (high potential extension) We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant / Architect to join a major SAP transformation program within the retail sector. This is a key opportunity for an experienced SAC Planning professional to play a leading role in the discovery and Prepare & Explore phase of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation, helping shape the future-state planning solution. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on SAC Planning expertise, combined with the ability to lead client discovery workshops, engage confidently with senior stakeholders, understand existing planning environments, and translate business requirements into scalable solution designs. Experience with legacy SAP BPC environments and the transition from traditional SAP planning solutions to SAC Planning will be highly valuable.

Responsibilities

  • ● Lead client discovery and requirements workshops and engage with key stakeholders.
  • ● Analyse existing as-is planning processes and design future-state to-be SAC Planning solutions.
  • ● Translate business requirements into scalable functional and solution designs.
  • ● Design and implement SAC Planning solutions using Planning Models, Data Actions, Multi Actions and Advanced Formulas.
  • ● Support planning processes across financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation.
  • ● Integrate SAC with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA and other data sources.
  • ● Support solution demonstrations, testing, deployment and hypercare.
  • ● Provide solution recommendations and contribute to best practices and solution architecture.

Requirements

  • ● 5+ years of SAP Analytics experience, with strong hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning expertise.
  • ● At least 2 end-to-end SAC Planning implementation projects.
  • ● Strong experience with Planning Models, Data Actions, Multi Actions and Advanced Formulas.
  • ● Experience leading client workshops, discovery sessions and requirements gathering.
  • ● Ability to assess existing planning models and develop future-state solution designs.
  • ● Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation.
  • ● Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere and/or BW/4HANA integration.
  • ● Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • ● Previous experience with SAP BPC and migration or transformation from BPC/legacy planning solutions to SAC Planning.
  • ● Experience within the retail sector.
  • ● SAP SAC Certification.
  • ● Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP AI/Joule or SAP IBP.
  • ● Experience delivering end-to-end SAC Planning implementations within a consulting environment.
