  • azbil Group pursues "human-centered automation" as its core initiative for the purpose of contributing to people's safety, comfort, and fulfillment. Azbil is expanding its businesses in the areas of building automation, advanced automation for factories and industrial plants, and life automation for essential services and people's health and well-being. We are looking for a System and Application Engineer for the Building Automation business to support next-generation AI-enabled Building Intelligence solutions across Southeast Asia and India. Responsibilities
  • Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications for intelligent building management systems in Southeast Asia and India.
  • Develop and enhance applications related to building data analytics, fault detection, optimization, energy efficiency, and operational support.
  • Work with APIs, data interfaces, and building system data to integrate building systems with analytics and application services.
  • Plan and conduct application testing, validation, and performance evaluation before regional deployment.
  • Prepare engineering manuals, configuration guides, and technical documents for regional implementation.
  • Train and support regional engineers and assist with project engineering and system configuration when required.
  • Collect feedback from internal teams, customers, and project stakeholders to improve applications and deployment processes Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
  • Candidates with around 3 years of relevant programming or software development experience are preferred; fresh graduates with strong programming fundamentals and a relevant degree are also welcome to apply.
  • Programming skills in one or more commonly used programming languages, such as TypeScript or Python, with the ability to develop, test, and maintain software applications.
  • Strong interest in building automation, energy conservation, data analytics, AI/ML applications, and sustainable building operations.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to work with regional engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and apply them to practical engineering and customer-facing solutions.
