Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing and procurement, including supplier identification, qualification, and development globally.
  • Conduct price negotiations and manage cost competitiveness under volatile market conditions.
  • Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including PO issuance, tracking, and documentation.
  • Own production planning and material planning, ensuring timely availability of raw materials and packaging to meet production schedules.
  • Develop and maintain rolling supply and production plans based on demand forecasts, lead times, and inventory positions.
  • Work closely with Operations to translate demand forecasts into feasible production schedules, balancing capacity, lead time, and supply constraints.
  • Proactively identify supply risks or bottlenecks and adjust procurement and production plans accordingly.
  • Oversee inventory management, optimizing stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate incoming logistics, including shipment planning and port clearance.
  • Build and manage supplier relationships, especially across China and Taiwan.
  • Conduct supplier audits and site visits as required.
  • Support licensing and compliance requirements, where applicable.
  • Work with product/technical teams on product specifications and documentation.
  • Participate in process improvements and ad hoc projects assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Logistics, or related fields (others with relevant experience are welcome).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or planning roles.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written) due to frequent interaction with regional suppliers.
  • Proven ability in negotiation, supplier management, and procurement execution.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, comfortable working with cost structures and data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP/Navision or other ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO9001) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize and make decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Willing to travel for supplier audits and site visits.
