About the Role

We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Consultant to join our SAP practice in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. You will work closely with customers and delivery teams to design, configure and support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solutions across complex enterprise environments. This role would suit a hands-on payroll consultant who enjoys working across the full implementation lifecycle and engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure and implement SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solutions.
  • Facilitate payroll requirements gathering and solution design workshops.
  • Translate business and legislative requirements into practical system configurations.
  • Configure payroll schemas, rules, wage types and related payroll functionality.
  • Support integrations between Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll and third-party platforms.
  • Complete testing, documentation, deployment and post-go-live support activities.
  • Troubleshoot payroll issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Support data migration, payroll reconciliation and cutover activities.
  • Work closely with customers, project managers, functional consultants and technical teams.
  • Contribute to estimates, implementation planning and continuous solution improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
  • Experience across payroll configuration, testing, implementation and support.
  • Knowledge of payroll schemas, personnel calculation rules, wage types and payroll processing.
  • Experience integrating Employee Central with Employee Central Payroll.
  • Understanding of Australian or New Zealand payroll requirements would be highly regarded.
  • Experience with payroll data migration, reconciliation and parallel testing.
  • Well-developed workshop facilitation, documentation and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capability.
  • Previous consulting or customer-facing delivery experience.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll certification would be highly regarded.
