About the Company

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Officer to join our Animal Operations team on a part-time basis, working every Saturday and Sunday (16 hours per week). Based at our Yagoona Shelter, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service and support while working closely with our team to achieve positive outcomes for animals and the community. You will report to the Customer Care Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- ● Deliver exceptional customer service and accurate advice in animal care.
- ● Coordinate adoption and surrender processes with precise documentation.
- ● Manage cruelty complaints and escalate urgent cases to Inspectorate.
- ● Maintain accurate records through administrative tasks including daily banking.
- ● Ensure animals are properly identified upon receipt.
- ● Streamline communication for consistent messaging and address process gaps.
- ● Audit and analyse processes to enhance effectiveness.
- ● Engage in project management activities and adhere to brand guidelines.
- ● Support the WHS management system through personal leadership.
- ● Unrestricted driver's licence.
- ● Experience in customer service and animal handling.
- ● Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- ● Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- ● Computer literacy skills.
- ● Certificate II in Animal Care or equivalent preferred.
