Responsibilities
- ● Plan, monitor, and improve daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
- ● Analyze production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
- ● Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- ● Develop, review, and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
- ● Monitor production KPIs, analyse performance trends, and prepare regular reports for management.
- ● Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, trial runs, and production ramp-up activities.
- ● Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to resolve operational issues.
- ● Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction initiatives.
- ● Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- ● Support equipment improvements, process optimization, and automation projects where applicable.
Requirements
- ● Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- ● Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- ● Experience in Plastic Injection Moulding, Electronics Assembly, Medical Devices, Metal Stamping, or related manufacturing industries is an advantage.
- ● Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- ● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- ● Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- ● Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- ● Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is an added advantage.
