Project Engineer

Requirements: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in internal plumbing systems, water reticulation, and sewerage reticulation works. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and Microsoft Project is required, with the ability to produce shop drawings as-built drawing etc. Strong leadership and communication skills to manage workers and coordinate effectively with external stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines in a dynamic environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Job Responsibilities: Oversee the design and installation of internal plumbing systems, water reticulation works and sewerage reticulation works projects. Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure the timely execution of work in compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards, particularly in dealing with DBKL, KUSEL, Air Selangor, and other relevant authorities. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control for all plumbing and reticulation work. Manage project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met within the specified timeframe and budget. Collaborate with the procurement team to source and select appropriate materials and suppliers for plumbing and sewerage systems. Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, RFI (Request for Information), site memos, and technical drawings. Review and resolve design and technical challenges that arise during the course of the project. Manage and update progress claims and variations, ensuring accuracy in billings and compliance with contract terms. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
