Responsibilities
- ● Prepare and update technical drawings using AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
- ● Create detailed drawings and designs, technical specifications, and plans.
- ● Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
- ● Oversee the prototyping and testing process, conducting performance evaluations and making necessary adjustments to meet quality and safety standards.
- ● Ensure system and product quality through the design and implementation of testing methods; verify finished product and system capabilities; validate fabrication, assembly, and installation procedures.
- ● Analyze production costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement cost-effective design solutions without compromising safety or quality.
- ● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Production and Sales, to ensure seamless product development and production processes.
- ● Enhance existing product designs for optimal performance and efficiency.
- ● Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues related to product design, production, or performance.
- ● Establish and maintain design history files for documentation and reference purposes.
- ● Support sales department in designing a system for fire protection using flow calculation software.
Requirements
- ● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- ● Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in Engineering and Product Design.
- ● Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and drafting.
- ● Ability to communicate in Spanish, German or Taiwanese Mandarin will be an added advantage.
