Responsibilities
- ● Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects within the manufacturing site
- ● Lead cross-functional coordination involving production, maintenance, quality, and other internal stakeholders
- ● Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
- ● Prepare project documentation including Bill of Quantities and cost estimations
- ● Support budgeting, cost control, and project financial tracking
- ● Support equipment installation, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
- ● Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- ● Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- ● Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- ● Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for project-related activities
- ● Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
- ● Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment
Requirements
- ● Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
- ● Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a Project Engineer or similar role
- ● Proven experience in project coordination within a manufacturing environment
- ● Hands-on experience in manufacturing operations is required
- ● Experience in preparing Bill of Quantities, project costing, and budget management
- ● Experience with plant projects, equipment installation, or process improvements
- ● Strong understanding of project management principles
- ● Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing or preparing technical drawings
- ● Certification such as PMP is an added advantage
- ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ● Knowledge of project management tools is an advantage
- ● Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- ● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- ● Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
