Responsibilities

  • ● ECS Security Automation Engineering is seeking a cloud security technologist bringing new insights and innovation to craft, develop, test, and implement security solutions for our cloud environments.
  • ● Your work as a cloud security specialist furthers the organization's mission to protect Fidelity data and applications in the cloud. Our systems professionals thrive with loyalty and dedication to innovate, which cultivates a culture of continuous improvement and significant achievement. The candidate should have a strong understanding of at least one CSP (AWS/Azure) as well as understand the value of security in the cloud space as well as some experience working with Kubernetes deployments.
  • ● The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • ● Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline.
  • ● Proven experience working with cloud service providers (AWS/Azure).
  • ● Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • ● Ability to work with JSON and YAML.
  • ● Knowledge of security and data protection especially in cloud platforms and applications.
  • ● Skillset allows you to engineer and prototype security tooling for secure cloud practices.
  • ● Understanding & experience with cloud container platforms (Kubernetes).
  • ● Have in-depth knowledge of diverse and emerging technology concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
  • ● Background includes domain expertise in cloud security for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • ● Self-starter who can independently learn how systems work by reading technical documentation.
  • ● Confident working in a DevOps environment.
  • ● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
