• ● About the role
• ● As a Linux Platform Software Engineer, you will work with a core computing platform consisting of multiple Linux-based computers connected through high-speed fiber-optic networks.
• ● The platform provides the runtime foundation for advanced technical systems, where stability, performance, security, and reliable communication between components are essential.
• ● You will be involved in designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining the platform software, working across the Linux operating system, middleware, system services, and development tooling.
• ● You will collaborate closely with system architects, application developers, and testing teams to build a stable and efficient runtime environment.
• ● What you'll do
• ● Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based runtime platforms
• ● Integrate, configure, and optimize Linux distributions for embedded and distributed systems
• ● Develop system-level software, services, and tools using C/C++ and Python
• ● Build and maintain Bash scripts for automation, deployment, and system administration
• ● Work with Linux kernel configuration, system services, and boot processes
• ● Troubleshoot complex issues involving operating systems, networking, and hardware
• ● Work with Linux networking, including fiber-optic communication and complex network topologies
• ● Integrate and maintain build environments using Yocto or similar tools
• ● Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control, and development workflows
• ● Participate in architecture discussions, technical decisions, and continuous platform improvements
• ● What we're looking for
• ● You have a strong interest in Linux-based software development and enjoy working close to the operating system, hardware, and underlying system architecture.

Requirements

• ● Yocto, Buildroot, or other embedded Linux solutions
• ● Linux kernel, device drivers, or Board Support Package (BSP) development
• ● Container technologies such as Docker or Podman
• ● Embedded systems and hardware-near software development
• ● Cybersecurity and Linux system hardening
• ● Distributed systems and advanced network topologies
