- ● About the position
- ● An opportunity has become available for an HR Information Systems Officer to join our Human Resources team, working full-time on a Monday to Friday roster. The role will be based in our Newcastle, NSW office.
- ● In this role, you'll provide hands-on day-to-day support to end users across primarily Workday and SAP systems, helping to ensure HR system data is accurate, processes are completed correctly and issues are resolved at their source.
- ● Working closely with HR and business stakeholders to answer day-to-day system enquiries.
- ● Supporting employee and organisational data alignment to meet payroll and business deadlines across primarily Workday and SAP systems.
- ● Resolving data entry and data quality issues, identifying gaps across user knowledge, process, system configuration and integrations.
- ● Maintaining accurate system guidance materials and supporting the operational adoption of system functionality across different business operations.
- ● Completing mass data loads, including reconciliation and validation to ensure data accuracy.
- ● Preparing business requirements documentation to support system changes.
- ● Supporting detailed system updates with system user acceptance testing and the preparation of related change management materials.
- ● Monitoring recurring issues, data errors and system integration performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- ● Providing coaching and targeted training to end users, including Workday systems training, to improve system understanding and prevent repeat issues.
- ● Using problem trends and user feedback to recommend improvements to system processes, training, guidance materials and the overall user experience.
- ● We're looking for someone who enjoys working with technology and systems, solving problems, working with data and helping others get things right the first time.
- ● Previous experience working with Workday would be beneficial; alternatively, experience in HR systems, HR administration, reporting or a similar systems-focused role.
- ● Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with employee and organisational data.
- ● Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with the ability to work confidently with data and reporting.
- ● Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to coach and support end users.
