• ● Diagnose and manage a wide range of hematological conditions, including anemia, bleeding disorders, coagulation disorders, hemoglobinopathies, bone marrow disorders, and hematological malignancies.
• ● Evaluate and treat patients with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers.
• ● Develop comprehensive treatment plans, including chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and supportive care where appropriate.
• ● Interpret laboratory investigations, peripheral blood smears, bone marrow examination results, flow cytometry, and other hematological assessments.
• ● Manage patients requiring transfusion medicine support and monitor treatment-related complications.
• ● Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, transplant specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient care.
• ● Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology consultations.
• ● Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and long-term disease management.
• ● Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
• ● Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
