  • AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Planning & Scheduling Manager, in Riyadh, KSA.The Planning & Scheduling Manager will be responsible for leading all planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities across major roads, highways, bridges, interchanges, and transportation infrastructure projects within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.The role will ensure effective development and management of integrated project schedules, monitor project performance, identify schedule risks and recovery opportunities, and provide strategic planning support to project and client leadership teams. The Planning & Scheduling Manager will play a key role in driving schedule certainty and supporting successful project delivery within approved timelines.
  • Planning & Scheduling
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and management of master program schedules for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Establish planning procedures, scheduling standards, and project controls processes in line with client and PMC requirements.
  • Develop and review baseline schedules for design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure project schedules are fully integrated across all disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Validate contractor schedules and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor schedule performance and baseline adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain work breakdown structures (WBS), project coding structures, and scheduling methodologies.
  • Schedule Control & Performance Monitoring
  • Analyze project progress and identify critical path activities.
  • Monitor schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assess project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead recovery planning workshops and develop mitigation plans for schedule delays.
  • Evaluate contractor recovery schedules and acceleration proposals.
  • Ensure schedule updates are accurate, timely, and aligned with site progress.
  • Collaborate with cost control, risk management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule alignment.Support forecasting and project performance reporting.
  • Integrate planning activities with project controls processes and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in change management assessments and evaluate schedule impacts arising from design changes, variations, and claims.
