  • Our client in the fire protection industry is seeking a Service Engineer - Fire & Life Safetyto perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Central Battery Systems (CBS), PAVA, and other life safety and building systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable system performance, responding to customer service requests, and maintaining compliance with service agreements and applicable industry standards.The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting systems, with additional exposure to Life Safety, Security, BMS, ELV, AV, ICT, or HVAC systems. The role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently while meeting service level agreements.
  • Perform periodic preventive and corrective maintenance on customer installations to ensure systems continue to operate reliably.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Central Battery Systems (CBS), PAVA, and other life safety systems.
  • Carry out testing and commissioning activities for new and existing installations.
  • Monitor graphic stations for alarms, error messages, and system alerts, ensuring uninterrupted system operation.
  • Respond promptly to customer service requests and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, and equipment performance logs.
  • Report recurring technical issues to Team Leads and recommend corrective actions.
  • Log faults, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions to minimize recurring system issues.
  • Monitor existing systems and identify opportunities for upgrades and system improvements.
  • Coordinate material requirements to ensure uninterrupted service activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures, industry standards, local regulations, and HSE requirements.
  • Support the maintenance of Life Safety, Security, BMS, AV, ICT, ELV, and HVAC systems as required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant service and maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Familiarity with Central Battery Systems (CBS).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) Systems.
  • Excellent knowledge ofLife Safety, Security, BMS, AV, ICT, ELV, and Fire Fighting systems.
