We Are Looking For People Who Are<br><br><br> * Independent and self-reliant: As solo Flight Attendants, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.<br> * Customer-focused: As a solo Flight Attendant you will manage your own cabin and have the opportunity to provide a caring and personalised service, whilst travelling to some of Australia’s most unique destinations.<br> * Detail-oriented and safety-conscious: you will need to manage in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.<br> <br> <br><br>The role offers a great work/life balance along with a competitive remuneration and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work (which includes early starts & late finishes), and some nights spent away from home.<br><br>Some of the duties you will perform are equipment/security checks, in-flight announcements, in-flight food & beverage service, cleaning duties as well as handling various situations that may occur in the cabin, on your own.<br><br>It is a rewarding position where every day is different coupled with a great team spirit.<br><br>To Meet Requirements, You Must<br><br><br> * Be 18 years of age or over<br> * Be an Australian Citizen or Hold Australian Permanent Residency<br> * Be no taller than 173 cm<br> * Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)<br> * Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - completed within the last 3 years<br> * Be able to demonstrate that you have:<br> * <br> * Completed a minimum 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or<br> * Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or<br> * Worked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or<br> * Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.<br><br> * Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security check<br> * Be passionate about your role and a commitment to delivering exceptional and consistent customer service<br> * Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (a swim assessment is required)<br> * Be flexible and adaptable; working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods<br> * Have a high level of personal presentation<br> * Have a natural willingness to please and care for people<br> <br><br>Extensive training will be provided – flying experience is not required.<br><br>To Apply: Please submit your application via our careers page: https://careers.rex.com.au/<br><br>To Be Considered, You Must<br><br><br> * use the above link to apply, and<br> * complete ALL of the screening questions.
