About the Company

We are seeking an experienced TEKLA Structural Steel Detailer to join our team in Wexford. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a variety of structural steel, architectural steel, and bespoke fabrication projects, from initial modelling through to manufacture and installation.

Responsibilities

  • ● Produce accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures, ensuring designs are practical, detailed, and suitable for fabrication and erection.
  • ● Prepare general arrangement drawings, assembly drawings, single-part drawings and detailed connection drawings.
  • ● Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • ● Coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabricators, and site teams to resolve technical queries and identify potential clashes.
  • ● Ensure drawings, dimensions, connections, and material specifications meet project requirements and relevant industry standards.
  • ● Generate material lists, bolt lists, and fabrication data to support efficient workshop production.
  • ● Manage assigned projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • ● Minimum 3 years' experience in structural steel detailing.
  • ● Strong working knowledge of Tekla Structures and steel fabrication processes.
  • ● Knowledge of steel connections, welding, bolting, and fabrication methods.
  • ● Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
