Oversee, manage, and develop the enterprise SAP BW/BI on SAP HANA system. Supervise internal teams and external consultants/developers in designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence & Analytics reporting solutions. Analyze business requirements, design data models, collaborate closely with business units, and manage user support & training to ensure accurate, timely, and SLA-compliant data delivery for executive and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • ● Team & Project Supervision:
  • ● Supervise and manage the SAP BW/BI team (both in-house staff and external consultants) to ensure deliverables meet KPIs, SLAs, and defined timelines.
  • ● Plan and oversee enterprise-wide enhancement and new implementation projects for SAP BW/BI and Data Analytics systems.
  • ● Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical skill development for team members.
  • ● System Architecture & Development:
  • ● Analyze and gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
  • ● Design and maintain Data Modeling on SAP Datasphere, SAP BW on HANA, and SAP BW/4HANA (e.g., ADSO, CompositeProvider, Calculation Views).
  • ● Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from SAP ERP (ECC/S4HANA) and non-SAP systems into the Data Warehouse.
  • ● Oversee and manage data integration with frontend reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), Power BI, or Tableau.
  • ● System Maintenance & Performance Tuning:
  • ● Monitor Process Chain execution and troubleshoot process failures.
  • ● Perform system performance tuning on HANA Database (e.g., optimizing Query Execution Time and Data Loading Speed).
  • ● Manage data access authorizations and security in compliance with company policies.
  • ● User Support & Operations Management:
  • ● Manage Level 2 and Level 3 Incident Management and Service Requests in accordance with established SLA standards.
  • ● Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues related to reports, dashboards, or data discrepancies to maintain business continuity.
  • ● Create, update, and maintain User Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Technical Documentation.
  • ● User Training & Stakeholder Management:
  • ● Plan and conduct training programs on SAP BW/BI and Self-Service Analytics for Key Users and End Users.
  • ● Provide advisory and consulting services to management and key business units (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, etc.) on leveraging analytics for business value.
  • ● Gather user feedback to continuously improve UI/UX and report functionality to meet actual operational needs.

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Statistics/Data Science, or a related field.
  • ● Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/BI HANA or SAP Datasphere .
  • ● At least 1-2 years of experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, or managing project teams.
  • ● Proven experience in managing User Support systems and conducting training for Key Users and End Users.
  • ● Direct experience in SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Datasphere implementations/migrations is a strong plus.
  • ● Strong expertise in SAP BW on HANA / BW/4HANA Architecture and Data Modeling .
  • ● Proficiency in SAP HANA Native Modeling (Calculation Views, Analytical Views) and ABAP for BW (Transformation Rules, User Exits).
  • ● Solid understanding of core SAP ERP data structures (FI, CO, SD, MM, PP).
  • ● Expertise in connecting frontend BI reporting tools (e.g., SAP BI, Power BI).
  • ● Strong knowledge of SQL Scripting and HANA DB performance tuning.
  • ● Strong Service Mind and Positive Thinking attitude.
  • ● Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • ● Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills across different business units and executive management.
  • ● Good command of English (both spoken and written).
