HealthPlus Family Health Center provides family-focused, comprehensive care for all ages across its clinics in Al Bandar, Al Forsan, and Saadiyat Island. The centers' team of experienced family physicians offers a full spectrum of services, from newborn checkups and preventive care to the management of common illnesses and injuries, helping families stay healthy, active, and well-supported through every stage of life. HealthPlus is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused General Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services across a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions while promoting preventive healthcare and wellness. The General Practitioner will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care and an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • ● Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, medical assessments, and physical examinations.
  • ● Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses in accordance with clinical best practices.
  • ● Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans.
  • ● Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes.
  • ● Provide preventive healthcare services, including health screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle counselling.
  • ● Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
  • ● Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • ● Refer patients to specialists and allied healthcare professionals when clinically appropriate.
  • ● Manage follow-up appointments and continuity of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • ● Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and patient safety programmes.
  • ● Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and coordinated care.
  • ● Adhere to all HealthPlus policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • ● Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • ● Completion of an accredited internship programme.
  • ● Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner in a hospital, medical centre, or primary healthcare setting.
  • ● Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), or Ministry of Health (MOH) licence to practise in the UAE.
  • ● Strong clinical knowledge in primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management.
  • ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach to care.
  • ● Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • ● Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and clinical documentation.
  • ● Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
