O'Sullivans Pharmacy is family owned and run with branches located across the South-West. Our roots go back many years with our pharmacy on O'Connell Avenue, Limerick serving customers since 1929. Due to expansion in our business we currently have a vacancy for a Pharmacy Manager for our branch at Kings Island Primary Care Centre, Island Road, Limerick. We are seeking a highly organised individual who is driven and highly motivated. You will need to have a strong customer focus, a proven ability to encourage and inspire those around you and have the desire to drive sales and increase profitability. As this is a dispensary led store strong dispensing experience is essential. As a member of our team you'll be offered continuous professional training and education. It is essential to us that each customer is treated to the highest level of care and we strive to achieve this with a highly skilled team.

Responsibilities

  • ● Manage financial budgets and lead the financial growth of the store.
  • ● Minimise PCRS claims leakage.
  • ● Maximise dispensary and retail compliance with company policies.
  • ● Support and lead the team with strong leadership skills.
  • ● Review and analyse sales reports and KPIs and react accordingly.
  • ● Ensure operations of the store are executed with excellence and customer engagement is delivered at all times.
  • ● Responsible for direct reports including appraisals, training, development, performance management.
  • ● Responsible for stock budgets and margin.
  • ● Responsible for staff rosters and adhering to payroll budgets.
  • ● Liaise with the head office management team regarding staffing, product issues, range feedback, customer requests.

Requirements

  • ● Previous Retail Pharmacy and dispensing experience essential.
  • ● Previous management experience preferred.
  • ● PCRS claims experience.
  • ● High level of commercial awareness enabling you to deliver new sales opportunities for your Store.
  • ● Good understanding of effective stock control.
  • ● A lateral thinker/ability to work on your own initiative.
  • ● Ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • ● Act as a role model for your team and peers.
  • ● Have exceptional levels of customer service, inspiring your team to deliver same.
  • ● Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • ● High level of integrity to handle confidential information.
  • ● Are highly organised with good time management skills.
  • ● Excellent communication skills.
  • ● Can show flexibility to get the job done when needed.
