About the Company

Responsibilities

• ● Teaching & Curriculum
• ● Plan and deliver engaging and rigorous English lessons aligned with IB MYP and DP objectives.
• ● Develop unit plans, lesson plans, learning activities, and assessment tasks aligned with curriculum requirements.
• ● Teach English Language & Literature concepts through inquiry, discussion, analysis, research, and creative expression.
• ● Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• ● Use literature, media, contemporary texts, and real-world contexts to make learning meaningful.
• ● Apply differentiated teaching strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
• ● Assess student work using appropriate MYP/DP assessment criteria and provide constructive feedback.
• ● Maintain accurate records of formative and summative assessments and monitor student progress.
• ● Support students in developing reflection, research, communication, and independent-learning skills.
• ● Student Support & IB Responsibilities
• ● Support MYP students with relevant projects and inquiry-based learning experiences.
• ● Guide and mentor DP students with relevant assessment requirements and Extended Essay supervision, where applicable.
• ● Support students in developing effective research, referencing, academic writing, and presentation skills.
• ● Encourage the development of ATL skills and IB Learner Profile attributes.
• ● Provide additional academic support and remediation where required.
• ● Collaboration & Communication
• ● Participate in collaborative planning and interdisciplinary learning initiatives.
• ● Communicate regularly with parents, counselors, coordinators, and colleagues regarding student progress.
• ● Participate in parent-teacher meetings, assemblies, open houses, and other school events.
