Responsibilities
- ● Place orders for goods and services with approved suppliers, following company procedures
- ● Secure the required approvals before issuing purchase orders
- ● Follow up on orders to make sure deliveries arrive on time
- ● Negotiate prices with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to get cost-effective deals without compromising quality or delivery timelines, and submit them to the Assistant Purchase Manager for review
- ● Visit suppliers when needed (e.g. urgent cash purchases) and build strong working relationships
- ● Follow company procurement policies and procedures
- ● Log all purchases in the purchasing system for accurate tracking and classification
- ● Bachelor degree.
- ● Minimum 3 years of hands-on procurement experience
- ● Good understanding of procurement processes
- ● Knowledge of the UAE supplier market
