Responsibilities

  • ● Prepare and analyze monthly financial packages including value-added analysis and commentary
  • ● Review of business unit cash and balance sheets to ensure adherence to working capital metrics/targets
  • ● Business partner with portfolio companies and provide financial guidance to senior leadership
  • ● Complete quarterly disclosure packages to ensure accuracy and completeness for key risk accounts
  • ● Management reporting including presentation of consolidated forecasts and variance analysis
  • ● Own the consolidated BU forecast and presentation of forecast and assumptions to business leads
  • ● Perform analysis for variances, key performance indicators, operational metrics, and ad hoc requests
  • ● Coordinate with portfolio businesses for quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
  • ● Manage the month-end closing process and controllership duties with the offshore accounting team
  • ● Chartered Professional Accountant designation (completed CPA requirements)
  • ● 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting
  • ● Experience auditing complex companies under IFRS
  • ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ● Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
