About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Development Lead to drive innovation and excellence in our SAP projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions that support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • ● Lead the SAP development workstream, including RICEFW, extensions, coding standards, code reviews, and quality.
  • ● Drive clean-core development, leveraging in-app and side-by-side extensibility using SAP BTP, RAP, and CAP.
  • ● Lead development across ABAP/ABAP for HANA, CDS, OData, Fiori/UI5, forms, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • ● Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and development solutions.
  • ● Manage developer authorisations, transports, and DevOps/CI-CD in collaboration with Basis and Technical Architecture teams.
  • ● Ensure unit testing, code security, performance, and development quality.
  • ● Support SIT/UAT defect resolution and technical cutover activities.
  • ● Lead and manage development teams, including security-cleared resources working in controlled environments.

Requirements

  • ● 10+ years of SAP Development experience, including 5+ years as a Development Lead.
  • ● At least 2 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations with clean-core extensibility.
  • ● Strong hands-on experience with ABAP, ABAP for HANA/RAP, CDS, OData, and Fiori/UI5.
  • ● Experience with SAP BTP, CAP/RAP, APIs, integrations, and side-by-side extensibility.
  • ● Strong understanding of RICEFW, forms, interfaces, enhancements, and technical development.
  • ● Experience with code review, security scanning, transport management, DevOps, and performance tuning.
