About the Role

Clinical Research Nurses play a key role in the delivery of early phase clinical trials, providing high-quality clinical care to participants while ensuring studies are conducted in line with protocols, ICH-GCP guidelines, and organisational procedures. You will perform clinical assessments and procedures, accurately document trial data, and support the coordination of study activities. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the coordination and supervision of staff and participants within the clinical unit
  • Ensuring procedures and guidelines are conducted to industry standards
  • Administering Investigational Products, prescription and medications
  • Providing general nursing care, monitoring patient's well-being and taking appropriate action when necessary
  • Conduct procedures such as vital signs, ECG's, blood collection, blood processing and data collection
  • When required, acting as the nurse in charge and working within a higher scope of practice

Requirements

  • Registered Division 1 Nurse with AHPRA (no restrictions).
  • 2 years minimum post graduate experience in an acute care setting
  • Must have excellent time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with participants and other health care professionals
