About the Company

Role: SAP S/4HANA Product Owner Start Date: ASAP / in consultation Contract: Initial 12-month contract, with the intention to transition to permanent employment Hours: 32-36 hours per week Location: Netherlands Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week For one of our clients, a large Dutch organisation undergoing a major SAP S/4HANA transformation , we are looking for an experienced SAP Product Owner to join their ERP programme. This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation that is implementing SAP S/4HANA while simultaneously building a new ERP management organisation from the ground up . You will connect the business, SAP specialists and implementation partner, while helping shape the processes and ways of working that will support the SAP landscape after go-live.

Responsibilities

  • ● Own and prioritise the Product Backlog.
  • ● Translate business requirements into Epics, Features and User Stories.
  • ● Maximise business value across sprints and releases.
  • ● Connect Business Owners, key users, end users, SAP consultants and the implementation partner.
  • ● Ensure alignment between business processes, SAP functionality, data and integrations.
  • ● Drive standardisation and a Fit-to-Standard approach.
  • ● Support testing, acceptance, release and Go-Live activities.
  • ● Identify risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
  • ● Provide functional direction to Agile teams.
  • ● Contribute to building the future ERP management organisation.

Requirements

  • ● 5+ years of relevant SAP experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
  • ● Experience as an SAP Product Owner, Senior SAP Consultant, SAP Business Consultant or Senior Functional Consultant .
  • ● Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes.
  • ● Experience with SAP FI/CO, PS, MM, EWM or SD.
  • ● Experience with ERP implementations or transformation programmes.
  • ● Experience with Agile, Scrum or SAFe.
  • ● Strong Product Backlog management experience.
  • ● Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • ● Experience with testing, acceptance and release management.
  • ● Excellent communication skills.
  • ● Fluent English and Dutch, written and spoken.
  • ● 12-month contract with the intention to transition to permanent employment.
  • ● 32-36 hours per week.
  • ● Hybrid working - 2 days onsite per week .
