Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• ● Manage and maintain critical cybersecurity platforms including Palo Alto Firewalls, Carbon Black EDR, Cloudflare DDoS/WAF, and CyberArk PAM.
• ● Perform platform monitoring, health checks, patching, upgrades, configuration, backup and restoration.
• ● Manage firewall rules, NAT, routing, security policies, WAF rules, SSL certificates, endpoint sensors, and privileged accounts.
• ● Troubleshoot security platform incidents and support security investigations and incident response.
• ● Conduct access, log, configuration, vulnerability, and compliance reviews.
• ● Support change management, security audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• ● Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for maintenance and issue resolution.
• ● Maintain SOPs, technical documentation, asset records, and operational reports.
• ● Strong experience in Network Security / Cybersecurity Operations.
• ● Hands-on experience with Palo Alto NGFW or equivalent firewall platforms.
• ● Hands-on experience with Carbon Black EDR or equivalent EDR solutions.
• ● Experience with Cloudflare WAF/DDoS or equivalent platforms.
• ● Experience with CyberArk PAM or equivalent PAM solutions.
• ● Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, NAT, DNS, segmentation, and firewall traffic flow.
• ● Experience with patch management, vulnerability management, security hardening, incident response, and change management.
• ● Understanding of air-gapped, segregated, or highly secure environments is an advantage.
• ● Knowledge of PKI and TLS/SSL certificate management is a plus.
• ● CCNA, Palo Alto, CyberArk, or Cloudflare certifications are desirable.
