As we continue to strengthen our manufacturing capabilities and organization, we are looking for a motivated and technically driven Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Shah Alam. The successful candidates will play an important role in strengthening HMK's Engineering, Production and Maintenance capabilities and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and improving HMK's manufacturing processes, machinery, equipment and technical capabilities. You will work closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Management to ensure reliable production, improve manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement across the factory.

Responsibilities

  • Improve manufacturing processes, productivity, quality and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot technical and process-related production issues
  • Support capacity planning, production transfers and new equipment projects
  • Develop work instructions, tooling and technical solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement, Lean, VSM and TPM initiatives
  • Support daily production to achieve delivery, quality and productivity targets
  • Monitor production performance, capacity and machine utilization
  • Work with supervisors and operators to resolve production issues
  • Improve production flow and manufacturing efficiency
  • Support manpower and capacity planning
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Improve machine reliability and reduce breakdowns and downtime
  • Support mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Manage maintenance records, schedules and spare-parts planning
  • Coordinate machine repairs, contractors and technical service providers
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing, engineering, production or maintenance experience
  • Strong practical problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial machinery
  • Experience with CNC, grinding, automation, maintenance or process improvement is an advantage
  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with production teams
  • Structured, systematic and results-oriented
  • Good command of English and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience is an advantage
