SAP & Data Project Coordinator Daily rate of up to 530 Long-term contract through to approximately November 2027 Support an inventory team during a major SAP project Three to four days per week in the Newcastle office Our client is seeking an SAP & Data Project Coordinator to join its Inventory Management team in Newcastle. The business currently uses SAP across its Queensland operations and a separate inventory platform in New South Wales. It is now in the early planning stages of moving both states onto SAP. Several members of the existing team will spend approximately 50% of their time supporting this project. The successful candidate will backfill their day-to-day responsibilities across inventory, supply chain and data management. The Inventory Management team sits within the broader Procurement and Supply Chain function. It consists of eight people across Newcastle and Brisbane and manages inventory across both New South Wales and Queensland.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day inventory-management activities
  • Maintain inventory and master data
  • Work with data and reporting across SAP and Excel
  • Assist with inventory planning and supply-chain processes
  • Review data for accuracy and resolve inconsistencies
  • Support team members across the Newcastle and Brisbane offices
  • At least two years of relevant experience across SAP, supply chain, inventory or data management
  • Practical experience using SAP
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Solid data-management experience
  • Experience working with inventory or master data
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills
