About the Company
Location: Bangkok, Thailand Employment Type: Full-Time We are a fast-growing fintech company with multiple global operations across Thailand and other international markets. Our services span digital payments, e-wallets, and B2B financial solutions. Lead the design, implementation and operation of LightNet's technical security capabilities across cloud, infrastructure, applications, endpoints and corporate IT. This is a hands-on leadership role for a self-starter who can build the company's security capability from the ground up. Working closely with Engineering, DevOps, IT and the Technology Risk function, the role owns the implementation and operation of technical security controls that protect LightNet's regulated fintech business, including fiat and digital asset custody platforms.
Responsibilities
- ● Own LightNet's technical security architecture across cloud, infrastructure, applications, identity, endpoints and data.
- ● Lead AWS security, including IAM, privileged access, network security, encryption, key management, secrets management, logging and resilience.
- ● Embed security into the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines through SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, container security and secrets scanning.
- ● Implement and operate security monitoring, SIEM/MDR, endpoint security and vulnerability management.
- ● Lead technical incident response, investigations and remediation.
- ● Review application, API and infrastructure designs to ensure secure-by-design principles.
- ● Evaluate, implement and manage security technologies and managed security service providers.
- ● Drive remediation of penetration testing findings and security weaknesses.
- ● Partner with Engineering, DevOps and IT to implement scalable, risk-based security controls.
- ● Provide technical security expertise to support audits, regulatory requirements and the Technology Risk function.
- ● Build and mature the security capability, including future recruitment and leadership of the security team.
Requirements
- ● 8+ years' experience in cyber/information security with strong hands-on technical expertise.
- ● Strong AWS security architecture experience.
- ● Expertise in IAM/PAM, EDR, SIEM/MDR, vulnerability management, DevSecOps, application security and network security.
- ● Experience implementing enterprise security technologies in cloud-first environments.
- ● Experience leading technical incident response and security operations.
- ● Experience in financial services, fintech or another regulated environment; digital asset or custody experience is highly desirable.
- ● Hands-on leader who combines strategic thinking with technical execution.
- ● Self-starter comfortable building security capabilities from scratch.
- ● Pragmatic, collaborative and delivery-focused.
- ● Strong communicator who can influence technical and business stakeholders.
