Drive operational efficiencies across open-pit, drill & blast, and load & haul activities.

Responsibilities

  • ● Create open-pit designs and Drill & Blast patterns using Surpac software.
  • ● Develop short to mid-term mine schedules for daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • ● Optimise Load & Haul workflows to increase site productivity and dirt movement.
  • ● Track project spending, monitor cost variances, and assist with financial forecasting.
  • ● Analyse operational site data to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • ● Strong proficiency in Surpac for open-pit design, scheduling, and pattern layout.
  • ● Solid hands-on background in Drill & Blast and Load & Haul operations.
  • ● Demonstrated ability to support on-site teams with a strong technical and managerial mindset.
  • ● Proven track record in production planning, mine scheduling, and cost tracking.
  • ● Full Australian working rights with relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering.
