About the Job

You will join a leading global insurance organisation undergoing ongoing Salesforce transformation and platform modernisation. Working to migrate at new acquired Saleforce instance in the current org spanning Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce, you'll play a key role in driving technical delivery, platform innovation, and engineering excellence. The role offers a unique blend of architecture, solution design, and hands-on development, making it ideal for someone who enjoys leading technical direction while remaining close to the code. Split would be 45% Solution Design and POC's, 35% hands-on and 20% leading a team

Role & Responsibilities

  • ● Lead the design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple business initiatives.
  • ● Translate business requirements into robust technical designs and implementation plans.
  • ● Remain hands-on with development across Apex, LWC, Flows, integrations, and platform enhancements.
  • ● Evaluate and adopt new Salesforce capabilities including Data Cloud and Agentforce.
  • ● Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
  • ● Conduct code reviews and ensure solution quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • ● Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to drive platform consistency and long-term strategy.
  • ● Support integration design and implementation across enterprise systems.

Requirements

Certifications

  • ● Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Architect pathway certifications.

Experience

  • ● Strong Salesforce development experience across complex enterprise environments.
  • ● Experience with CI/CD tooling and modern DevOps practices.

Skills

  • ● Hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and integrations.
  • ● Experience balancing solution design responsibilities with hands-on development.
  • ● Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce.
  • ● Strong Experience Cloud and Service Cloud knowledge.
  • ● Consulting or multi-project delivery experience highly regarded.
  • ● Financial Services or Insurance industry experience beneficial.
