About the Company
Auxo is hiring a Cyber Security Lead for a Series A B2B SaaS company scaling fast in the industrial tech space. The platform is deeply embedded in how large manufacturers run their operations. Enterprise clients. Real compliance requirements. And until now, no dedicated security function. This is the hire that changes that. You'll be the primary person dedicated to security, working directly with Engineering to make the platform secure by design. This is a highly hands-on role. You'll threat-model the product, write and review code, harden AWS infrastructure, build security into CI/CD, and own the security and compliance work required to support enterprise customers. There is no large security team or established playbook to hide behind. We're looking for someone who has owned security broadly before and is comfortable deciding what needs to exist, building it, and operating it.
Responsibilities
- ● Own security end-to-end across a growing B2B SaaS platform
- ● Work hands-on with Engineering on application security, threat modelling and secure architecture
- ● Strengthen cloud security and embed security directly into CI/CD and the development lifecycle
- ● Build security tooling, scripts and automation to improve how security work gets done
- ● Own vulnerability management, incident response and security testing
- ● Lead SOC 2 and other security/compliance requirements for enterprise customers
Requirements
- ● 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity or security engineering experience
- ● Strong experience with application/product security and DevSecOps in a production software environment
- ● Comfortable working directly with software engineers, reading code, and writing scripts or automation in Python, Bash or similar
- ● Strong cloud security experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
- ● Experience embedding security into CI/CD and the software development lifecycle
- ● You've owned security broadly before, ideally as the primary security person or within a small security team
- ● Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001 or similar security/compliance frameworks
- ● You're a hands-on builder who can identify what needs to be done and execute without a large team or established playbook
- ● Bonus: you've used AI/LLMs practically to automate or improve security workflows
