About the Company

We are looking for a Senior SAP Consultant to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is based at our new site in Penang, Malaysia. By joining us, you will contribute to building the first large scale battery factories in Asia, Europe and the United States. To support our financial and operational processes across multiple international business units, we are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Consultant with deep expertise in SAP ECC. You will collaborate closely with finance, controlling, manufacturing, and operational teams around the world to analyze business requirements, optimize end to end processes and deliver SAP solutions aligned with our world class engineering and manufacturing standards. You are a seasoned professional who enjoys shaping, documenting, and continuously improving a business critical IT landscape, based in Malaysia and reporting directly to the COO for Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

  • ● Analyze and translate business and financial requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions.
  • ● Lead the functional improvement, re engineering, configuration and support of key SAP ECC components, with primary responsibility for FI/CO.
  • ● Coordinate cross module integration with MM, PP, and other SAP areas across multiple international business units.
  • ● Perform in depth root cause analysis, resolve complex issues, and ensure system stability, data integrity and compliance.
  • ● Collaborate effectively with technical teams (infrastructure, development, integration).
  • ● Produce clear and comprehensive functional specifications, process documentation, and end user training materials.

Requirements

  • ● 5+ years of experience delivering and supporting ERP solutions, with strong emphasis on SAP ECC.
  • ● Proven senior level expertise configuring SAP FI/CO (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO PA, CO PC, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, etc.).
  • ● Working knowledge of SAP MM and PP; ABAP debugging or development capability is a strong advantage.
  • ● Strong analytical ability to model, challenge, and improve complex business processes.
  • ● Excellent global stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
  • ● Hands on mindset with the ability and interest to design, document, and significantly improve a small but strategically important IT environment.
  • ● Experience in a global high tech manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
