We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at Spring Hill Specialist Day Hospital in the heart of Brisbane.
About the Role
As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will play an integral role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative journey. You may work across: Working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and fellow nurses, you will contribute to positive patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- ● Admissions and pre-admissions
- ● Anaesthetics
- ● Scrub/Scout
- ● Recovery (PACU)
Requirements
- ● Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- ● Experience in perioperative nursing, including theatre, anaesthetics and/or recovery
- ● Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ● Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- ● Understanding of ACORN, NSQHS and infection prevention principles
- ● Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
