Responsibilities
- ● Oversee and supervise civil works associated with EHV Cable installation.
- ● Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- ● Coordinate civil activities with cable-laying and electrical teams.
- ● Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and productivity.
- ● Coordinate inspections, approvals, and as-built documentation.
- ● Resolve site issues and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
- ● Coordinate excavation and reinstatement around cable joints and termination locations.
Requirements
- ● Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- ● Proven experience in 132kV/220kV/ and or 400kV.
- ● Preferably experienced in DEWA Transmission Cable Projects.
- ● Candidates with DEWA / SEWA / Etihad WE project experience will be considered.
- ● Strong technical knowledge of civil works related to EHV cable installation.
- ● Hands-on experience in site execution, cable trenches, ducts, joint bays, manholes, excavation, backfilling, reinstatement, and associated civil works.
- ● Ability to coordinate effectively with electrical, construction, QA/QC, HSE, consultants, and subcontractors.
- ● Strong problem-solving and site management skills.
- ● Professional attitude with sincerity, honesty, and commitment.
- ● Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
