About the Company

NRW Civil & Mining is seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our team at the 700 million Karara Mining project in Western Australia . This is an opportunity to influence short-term mine planning and production performance while working with an experienced operational team. The site offers modern mining equipment, excellent workshop infrastructure and a well-developed camp with gym and recreational facilities.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will:

Responsibilities

  • ● Deliver safe and optimised short-term mine plans and schedules
  • ● Collaborate with operational teams to support production targets
  • ● Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • ● Promote NRW's health, safety and environmental policies

Requirements

  • ● A Bachelor of Engineering in Mining or a relevant tertiary qualification
  • ● At least two years' experience in an operational engineering role on a production mine site
  • ● Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control
  • ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ● Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi earthmoving equipment
  • ● A current Australian Driver's Licence
  • ● Permanent full-time employment
