About the Company

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) Lead Consultant to lead critical finance workstreams in a large-scale SAP Brownfield++ Migration Program . The ideal candidate will possess deep SAP Finance and Controlling expertise, proven experience in at least one end-to-end Brownfield migration project, and the ability to seamlessly adapt to the client's ecosystem while effectively collaborating with business and technical stakeholders. This role requires a mature consulting professional who can provide strategic guidance, hands-on execution, stakeholder leadership, and solution ownership throughout the migration lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • ● Lead the SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) workstream for a Brownfield++ migration project.
  • ● Drive Fit-to-Standard workshops, gap assessments, solution design, and implementation activities.
  • ● Assess existing SAP ECC/S4HANA finance processes and define migration strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • ● Manage finance-related migration activities, including:
  • ● General Ledger (GL)
  • ● Accounts Payable (AP)
  • ● Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • ● Asset Accounting (AA)
  • ● Cost Center Accounting
  • ● Profit Center Accounting
  • ● Internal Orders
  • ● Product Costing
  • ● Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
  • ● Financial Closing and Reporting
  • ● Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project management teams, and cross-functional SAP streams.
  • ● Support data migration, testing, cutover planning, deployment, and hypercare activities.
  • ● Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans across the finance workstream.
  • ● Provide leadership and mentoring to project team members and junior consultants.
  • ● Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
  • ● Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and contribute to overall transformation success.
  • ● 10 to 15 years of SAP consulting experience with strong specialization in SAP Finance & Controlling.
  • ● Proven experience as a Lead Consultant on large SAP transformation programs.
  • ● Must have successfully completed at least one end-to-end SAP Brownfield Migration Project .
  • ● Strong expertise in SAP FICO configuration, design, and business process optimization.
  • ● Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation and migration initiatives.
  • ● Strong understanding of finance business processes and best practices.
  • ● Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills.
  • ● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • ● Ability to adapt quickly to the client's operating environment and work effectively within diverse teams.

Requirements

  • ● SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
  • ● Experience in multinational or enterprise-scale SAP programs.
  • ● Prior consulting experience with system integrators or global consulting organizations.
  • ● Malaysian candidates preferred due to project location and stakeholder engagement requirements.
