About the Company

Sydney (Hybrid 2 Days Onsite) Chifley Tower CBD / Bella Vista 6-Month Contract Immediate Start Extension Potential NTT DATA is seeking two experienced Senior Systems Administrators to join a large-scale Core Modernisation Program focused on modernising critical enterprise infrastructure platforms. Working within the Payment Systems Migration Stream , you will play a key role in building, validating, and preparing infrastructure environments to support a major migration initiative. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-profile transformation program within a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • ● Build and configure Linux and Windows servers following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • ● Support payment system migration activities, ensuring infrastructure readiness
  • ● Perform server validation, testing, and readiness checks prior to deployment
  • ● Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
  • ● Administer and support VMware infrastructure, including ESXi and vCenter
  • ● Collaborate with project teams and technical stakeholders to ensure successful migration outcomes
  • ● Maintain technical documentation and comply with governance and process standards

Requirements

  • ● Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • ● Strong experience administering VMware environments (ESXi & vCenter)
  • ● Working knowledge of Windows Server
  • ● Good understanding of Active Directory and DNS
  • ● Proven experience following structured server build processes and SOPs
  • ● Experience in server validation, testing, and infrastructure readiness activities
  • ● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • ● Exposure to Terraform and/or Puppet
  • ● Experience working in large enterprise or highly regulated environments
  • ● Familiarity with automation tools and scripting
  • ● Experience supporting infrastructure migration or transformation programs
  • ● Immediate start
  • ● Hybrid working model (2 days onsite)
