Responsibilities
- ● Review and triage vulnerabilities identified by Fortify and Snyk.
- ● Assess and validate false positive requests.
- ● Provide/ Guide developers on remediation guidance.
- ● Support vulnerability tracking and remediation activities.
- ● Maintain security platform documentation and reporting.
- ● Analyse vulnerability data across multiple platforms to identify inaccuracies, ownership gaps, duplicate records, and reporting inconsistencies.
- ● Reconcile data between vulnerability scanners, ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, CMDBs, asset inventories, and other enterprise data sources.
- ● Perform detailed analysis to support remediation activities, risk reduction initiatives, executive reporting, and regulatory obligations.
- ● Engage with application, infrastructure, and security teams to investigate issues and drive resolution.
- ● Identify opportunities to improve vulnerability management processes, data quality, and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- ● Experience with application security and vulnerability management.
- ● Strong understanding of common application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
- ● Experience with SAST/SCA tools such as Fortify, Snyk.
- ● Ability to assess security findings and false positives.
- ● Strong stakeholder communication and technical writing skills.
- ● Understanding of secure coding practices and software development lifecycles.
- ● Demonstrated experience within Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Infrastructure Security, Cyber Operations, or a related cyber security function.
- ● Strong working knowledge of vulnerability management concepts, vulnerability lifecycles, remediation processes, risk prioritisation, and CVSS scoring.
- ● Experience working with vulnerability scanning platforms such as Snyk, Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or equivalent.
- ● Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues across multiple technical and business data sources.
- ● Experience analysing and reconciling data from enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, CMDBs, asset inventories, cloud platforms, or related systems.
- ● Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work directly with technical teams to resolve complex issues.
- ● Proven ability to work independently and quickly become effective within complex enterprise environments.
