About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst (Costing & Inventory) to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for product costing, inventory accounting, financial analysis and reporting activities that support business performance and decision-making. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for driving financial accuracy and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory month-end closing activities, standard cost setup, reconciliations, and other costing-related processes.
  • Reconcile inventory records with the General Ledger to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare, maintain, and analyze standard product costing and related management reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis across products, business units, and operational segments to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Perform variance analysis, present findings to management, and recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance.
  • Support internal and external audits by responding to costing and inventory-related queries.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Financial Analysis team on reporting, SAP costing implementation projects, and end-user training.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, costing, inventory accounting or a related finance function.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of costing methodologies, inventory accounting and financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with SAP system will be an advantage.
