Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• ● Design and implement Duck Creek Policy System solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• ● Lead and mentor the technical team in designing, developing, and delivering Duck Creek solutions.
• ● Guide the team on best practices for working with Duck Creek Policy Modules (e.g., Author, Server, Express, Rating, etc.).
• ● Collaborate with business analysts and clients to gather and understand their requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• ● Manage the full policy lifecycle and transactions, including underwriting, billing, and claims.
• ● Ensure integration of Duck Creek systems with other insurance technologies.
• ● Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• ● Bachelor's degree with 8-13 years of experience.
• ● Strong experience with 6-10 years on Duck Creek Policy system.
• ● Candidate should have strong experience on Duck Creek Policy modules.
• ● Good experience in LOBs like Commercial, Personal, Specialty.
• ● Good understanding of underwriting, claims, billing systems
• ● Good experience on Policy lifecycle and various Policy transactions
• ● Expertise working in Author, Server, Express (2&3), Forms, Rating, Batch Processing, Task Creation, Transact, & Address Validation, Transactions, Integrations
• ● Good understanding of business, functional requirements and policy workflow of the entire application and project
• ● Understanding the client's requirement properly and then going for the development in the core areas of DCT
• ● A good understanding of emerging InsurTech technology space.
